A month after the flowering the plant looks so different that it is hard to identify it with the spring stage. The leaves grow much larger, and the fruit becomes axillary through prolongation of the stem. A fruiting plant usually produces two branches, and its single dry fruit is found on one of the branches, close above the diverging point.
