The inflorescence in Viburnum is called umbelliform cyme. Its branches are radiating all from one point. In wild raisin the cyme is peduncled, that is, sitting on a stalk (while in sweet viburnum, V. lentago , it is sessile, that is, originating from the same point as the supporting leaves).
