Saccate portion of the spurred sepal broadly obtuse at summit and about as wide at its mouth as it is long (forming an equilateral triangle when observed from the side). In 5 of 6 checked flowers in this plant, spurs were strongly curved and directed as here, that is, forward--the way they are supposed be in I. capensis. Photo 2 of 3
