A solitary shrub persisting at Paul's Bridge—together with Rhodotypos scandens. Both appeared planted in that area, perhaps at the same time (along with pin oaks). While Rhodotypos had been spreading around, along the Neponset River and Burma Road, aralia did not seem to be advancing in 2012.
