In ssp. minor leaves narrow-lanceolate to lanceolate (length-to-width ratio about 4 to 8), acute to accuminate at apex, while leaves in the other ssp. are narrow-oblong to oblong (length-to-width ratio about 2-4), obtuse to acute at apex.
