These bluebells appear to be ×massartiana: inflorescence not one-sided; flowers less pendent; tepals mostly spreading rather than recurved (these characters match H. hispanica); however, stamens are of two different lengths (the way they are in H. non-scripta). The hybrid bluebells has been recently known to be aggressively naturalizing--at least in some states. Collections depicting a probable recent advancement must not yet have been made in other states (see note in Flora of North America).
