Saplings found at the power line along Rt. 28. With leaf lobes nearly absent and impressed veins producing wrinkled blade surface, they looked much like exotic evergreen oaks (such as Q. imbricaria). Most probably they were a variation of dwarf chestnut oak. Photo 1 of 3
