Identified on an old photograph (2005) taken in a public garden/plaza along Walnut St., opposite Day Middle School. From NHESP description: "This bee has exhibited a precipitous decline rangewide and may be extirpated from Massachusetts. Introduced pathogens are primarily responsible for its current status."
