December 10,
Randolph
A leaf of Atlantic white cedar has no keel (or only an inconspicuous keel closer to leaf tip) and bears a round (or close to round) pore on its abaxial surface--the visible surface of the leaf when it is attached to the twig. Leaves are not spreading. This AWC twig originates from a small grove preserved on the territory of Powers Farm in Randolph.
