A few veteran trees, supposedly planted by F.L. Olmsted Firm, were still surviving in Olmsted Park in 2013. Among them were sweetgum (Liquidambar styraciflua), American yellowwood (Cladrastis kentukea), a few old oaks, and this majestic sugar maple.
