Adventive seaside goldenrod. Seaside plants are sometimes found surprisingly far from the ocean, in habitats somewhat similar to those of the sea shore. This one was growing at a sandy roadside within urban Boston. Of course it was subject to plenty of salt spray there. The road is the Reservation border.
