An odd mechanism used for pumping the cranberry crop. Upon disengaging from their vines, berries are concentrated in a single area and either pumped into a truck (like in this case) or lifted by a conveyor. There is no industrial manufacturer of cranberry crop-gathering machines, so each grower invents a make-shift device on their own.
